About Actives International
Company History & Mission
Actives International was established by Bill Williams in June 1998. Jon Anderson joined him as a co-owner in 2000, and at that point the company was incorporated as an LLC.
The company was originally located in Ramsey, NJ but outgrew that space and moved to larger quarters in Allendale, NJ in 2004. The current location houses all Administration, R&D and Warehousing services.
Bill and Jon share a vision for the company that it will be the preferred supplier of high-purity, high-efficacy active ingredients for the Personal Care industry. To accomplish this, they utilize a global network of companies with expertise in biomass sourcing, product testing, fermentation, and commercial-scale production of ingredients.
Most of the ingredients that are developed in-house are marketed under the ViaPure® brand name. However, some products are sold exclusively. Exclusive development projects are welcome, assuming the return is satisfactory.
Actives International is also the exclusive agent for several other companies with excellent reputations and high-quality natural ingredient product ranges: Chemisches Laboratorium Dr. Kurt Richter (CLR) and Contipro (CPN).
