Charles Myers’ career in Finance began as Audit Manager for SD Leidesdorf & Company (since merged with Ernst & Young).
Charlie later moved to Gulf & Western Industries as Director of Special Projects and Internal Audit, where he managed the internal audit staff and handled special investigations and acquisitions, including G&W’s acquisition of Simon & Schuster. After the acquisition, Charlie was named Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Simon & Schuster. Five divisions and numerous departments reported to him.
When he left the corporate world, Charlie established a private practice as Business Manager and Publishing Consultant.
In 2002, Charlie joined Actives International as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for finance, legal and administrative functions.
Charlie received a BS degree in Business/Accounting from Fordham University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, registered in NY, and an active member of numerous professional and civic organizations (including the AICPA, NYSS of CPAs, the Closter Chamber of Commerce and Ridgewood Country Club).
